The Royal & The Bridge

Every beginning deserves a story.

Kartel Studio’s first commission, The Royal & The Bridge, began with a desire to create something that felt less like an object and more like a piece of place, memory and history—captured in time.

The design brings together two enduring symbols: the grandeur of the Royal and the quiet strength of the Bridge. Hand-drawn architectural details stretch across the dial, transforming the watch into a miniature landscape. Set against a warm, parchment-like surface, the illustration carries the character of an original sketch—considered, imperfect and deeply personal.

This was never intended to be a conventional collection. Each of the eighteen originals was created to feel like a wearable work of art: a meeting point between watchmaking, architecture and storytelling.

We believed in the idea from the beginning. What we could not have anticipated was the response.

In under one week, the entire first collection sold out.

For a new studio releasing its first commission, that moment means more than numbers. It is an extraordinary vote of confidence in our approach: creating in small numbers, working with intention and giving every piece a story worth carrying.

To everyone who discovered the collection, shared it and chose to own one of the eighteen originals—thank you. You have become part of the opening chapter of Kartel Studio.

The Royal & The Bridge now belongs to its collectors. Its story will continue through the places it travels, the moments it witnesses and the lives in which it becomes a familiar presence.

This first commission has set the foundation for everything that follows.

We are only just beginning.
